    1) Laundry in the drier. I find the smell of freshly laundring laundry fluffing around in the drier with the drier sheet whirling around to be a very relaxing, snuggly type of smell.

    2) Baked goods... baking. Anything from bread to cake. Pies to cookies. It doesn't matter. If its baking, it smells good.

    3) California. When I lived in Washington to me anytime I smelled a combonation of ocean, flowers and smog on a warm day it smelled like California to me. I live here now and its still oen of my favorite smells.

    4) Christmas tree.

    5) I love the combo smell of instant coffee, cheap cigar and licorice. Its the smell of my Grandpa. I miss him and smelling any one of these takes me right back to sitting on his lap. If I smelled all of these at once and heard a little Sinatra playing I'd swear to you that he came back to visit me. ;o)

I'll come back with more later.

I would add..the "smell" of Disney parks. There's a certain combo there, but you just know it when you know it...hard to describe. There's a little bit of steam train in the air in the Magic Kingdoms, wherever you go (except for Hong Kong which is electric)...along with whiffs of cotton candy, chocolate stuff, horses (good vibes here..not talking in the negative!), and happiness (I guess THAT'S what that smells like lol).

I love plumarias and stargazer lillies. They smell like Hawaii.

    CAMPING! Where to begin!?

Food over a fire (breakfast, including coffee, mixed with sunshine and morning dew!)...any campfire for that matter!

    Forest smells galore!

Late night campfire smells mixed with wood (GOD I miss camping, it has been FAR too long for me these days!).

    *sniff*

And any pet smells that go with the camping (we used to take our dog "Sandy", and by the end of the weekend she'd be "wet dog Sandy" lol...and that's great too).

I love the smell of rain on a hot day. I don't like rain but its ok if its on a particularly hot day... for the smell factor alone.

mental note: don't go to Hawaii. Stagazers give me migraines.

favorite smell: chocolate and mint mixed together

I seem to remember that Inspector has a favorite smell that's a little off beat.

    Absolutely perfect.

I think the OP would agree..that's exactly what this thread is all about!

(I was trying to come up with some "special" originals...and you just did!)
