Ok then to the ride - I wouldn't run her all over the park like you in a marathon - that takes away from the joy. I would just pick a land and explore the land - then another land - explore that one and so on - so she can enjoy the adventure and the ahhh of the place. I might take her to DCA first then to DL that way she'll be even more excited after leaving DCA when she sees DL. I hope you're going for more than one day, so you can take your time. ENJOY ~

We go in September a lot -- beware that Haunted Mansion may be closed for Halloween decorating (check out riderefurbs.com for exact dates). I ALWAYS remember my first time on any given ride except for the ones I rode when I was super young ... I still remember the smell of Space Mountain when it first opened...same for Splash... Enjoy!!
