So yes, the state does too little, often too late to help those in need.

Public schools lost more than $1 billion. College tuition is expected to go up as much as 15% after 3 or 4 years of the same increase.

There isn't much good news coming out of Florida these days.

By and large I'm not a fan of Scott, but the biggest critics seem to be suggesting he has become too centrist. About where a Governor should be.

I'm going to admit right here I don't know much about the particulars of Florida. But the country as a whole has had more months of consecutive job growth than that.

I'm more familiar with Wisconsin, where despite Scott Walker insisting his giveaways to the wealthy were all about "job creation," the state has actually LOST jobs since he took over, bucking the national trend.

Looks like those saying that "we need illegal immigrants to do the jobs American's won't do" were wrong. It is a shame too since it is going to hurt family owned farms like Driscoll's Berries. Maybe they can save some money at their other farms in CA, NM, TX, AZ, and all over Mexico.
