Hopefully this disproves the rumor/meme that FC was ever meant to replace PI. It's the new Crossroads.

When both roads were built there were daily attacks in the press about the boondoggles built in the middle of nowhere. Nobody is laughing now. The 429 (accessible by Western Way) is a GREAT way to get north/south in Orlando by avoiding the nightmare of I4 and the Turnpike. The Coronado is a popular place for Convention business and as an attendee of multiple conventions there I would LOVE to see some restaurants and services on that end of property. Going to Crossroads is not unlike a trip to hell I imagine.

As for Crossroads...the restaurants are fine (but only shop at Goodings if you enjoy being ripped off) but it is the traffic in that area that is hellish to me. I avoid it as much as is possible every time I'm there.
