The Disneyland plan is set up so that you pay a down payment comparable to a one day ticket then pay off the rest in monthly installments. If you renew on flexpay you just continue to pay a slightly higher monthly payment without the second downpayment. I think this is potentially a good thing for Fl residents and WDW. It seems to me that the Flexpay programs at Universal and SeaWorld have been fairly successful. It will be interesting to see how it does for WDW.
