I know that the Formula 1 is not very popular in the US, like it is here in Europe, but maybe that will change.

Is anyone here on LP excited that the Formula 1 returns to the US? Hopefully this time it gets more attention.

Unfortunately, race fans in the US are all about NASCAR, which I find terribly boring. And I loathe most NASCAR fans.

NASCAR gained some atteintion over here, since the Austrian Red Bull Company owns a NASCAR team. Now the Red Bull owned TV Station over here broadcasts the races. I've read that Red Bull maybe sells the team after the season.

I prefer NHRA and Land Speed Time Trial racing to either NASCAR or F1. So my excitement for F1 returning to the US isn't particularly high.

Will you be in Silverstone to watch the race?

Since the FIA changed the rules, I'm also excited to see the Grand Prix. I wonder if the other teams will have a chance to beat Red Bull. On the other hand the circuit of Silverstone is perfect for the RBR car.

Too bad Ferrari is in a bit of a rut though...
