Good thing there were folks out there who wanted to preserve those bits of history and acquired pieces for saving and restoration.

I remember hiking along the tracks at night when I was a kid, especially after they just closed the railroad. We only stayed on the main tracks near the road and never ventured into the wooded areas. I remember the train went right past the Meadows Trading post. I'm not sure if that was ever meant to be a station or not, but, it sure looked like it could have been. I remember having to watch for the train at the crossing just in front of it when we would walk to the Trading Post. Lots of great memories!!!

I rebuilt it since it was closed down. They did so much work on it, I just couldnt let it die. It is still a work in progress since a few things are lost. A few people have been nice enough to share missing data.
