You can take her for free on her birthday already. She can celebrate at Disney all she wants. Get her a birthday button from Guest Relations, take advantage of her FREE admission and have a blast. She'll get wished a happy birthday all day long. I'm sorry, but there's nothing mean about including paying Guests in the promotion.

Please forgive me Mickeymouseclub, but it sounds like you want something extra, since the baby would not have that concept. My DD received a first visit button when we visited for her fist time on my birthday in March. She was ecstatic over the button and proudly wore it that day (and many days since). To her that made the day as much as riding the rides. A child of only a year is unlikely to be reasoning that they are "missing" something like a free birthday card on their birthday at Disneyland. And like imadisneygal stated, you can always get her a Birthday button. They also have an I'm Celebrating, and a host of other free buttons that you can get at the ticket booths or from City Hall on Main Street. That would be thrilling for your child as much as you receiving a free fun card for her birthday.

I still think Disney could have included that age group since they have made so many allowances for passholders and other fine print that has made it so difficult for some to figure out that they are constantly asking ?s on LP. By the way in response to one of the ?s:All Theme Parks are included in the Celebration just not 1or2yrolds...

Ah Mickeymouseclub, your first posting sounded a bit like the article writer who whined about his wife not getting a free fun card on a blackout day of her pass. That is what prompted me to respond.

Since a child up to the age of two gets into the park free, they are already getting the ultimate birthday "Pass". Then at three reality comes crashing down...lol

Exactly. That was why I responded, too.

    I have a question, too.

I know the funcard is not good for food.
But can you use it to buy snacks in the giftshops (Like a bag of pretzels, etc?).

Tomorrow we are going to DL to pick up my birthday funcard, ride HM, then drive straight to Las Vegas. Some road snacks will come in handy!!

But a store that specializes in merchandise, you might be able to grab some pre-packaged snacks at the same store.
