Thanks for advice! We are leaving in 2 more days, yipee!

They then print you up a recipt w/comp stroller listed, and they don't charge or run your card in any way. The recipt is so if you need to leave the resort area (say to go to your hotel off site) you can turn in your stroller and then get it again. I also suppose that if someone else took off with your stroller you could also use the recipt to prove you had one and get another, but despite rumors I've never known stroller to disapear.

On crowded days when ECVs and strollers are not available to rent because they are out of them is when it has happened to us.

We have had a wheelchair with our balloon tied to it taken, a stroller taken with my kids embroidered Mickey hats in them. And watched a CM try to take the ECV that we had rented (we were sitting by a fountain looking over our shoulders at something.

On a busy day CMs scout for idle rentals as do those that either don't want to pay for one or don't want to wait until one gets turned into the rental place.

Has anyone ever known a stroller/wheelchair/ECV or the possesions in them to disapear otherwise? I've known lots of people to be scared of this, but never known it to actually happen. How about the rest of you?

I am not exactly sure what you are looking for-while DL is a place where "Dreams do come true", it is not so magical that theives don't also show up there.

OR, if, instead, it is a way hyped problem that almost to never happens, like I think it is, but it could just be my exceptional experience.

We went to rent a stroller at Star Traders, as we arrived in the park via the monorail. They have a limited number of strollers available for rent there, but not for free with Disney Visa. At least that was the policy a couple of years ago.
