I was also thinking of some Disney-themed chocolates or something for both the chaperones and the kid's rooms. Any ideas on where to get something cheap?

My $0.99 store sells pre-packaged Disney treats -- little graham crackers, animal crackers, that sort of thing, some dipped in chocolate, some with chocolate chips I think -- themed to Mickey and I forget who else. Can't comment on quality. My kids like 'em but they're kids, lol.

If you've got a Disney store nearby, you could grab some Disney dollars. Or they have nifty little toys, pens, light up things for under $5 generally. Actually, get the right sale and you can find some really neat stuff. I once bought lunchboxes for $1 and last week I bought us all hats/caps for $2.99 each.

As a teacher and chaperone for lots of trips I would say stay away from buying lots of crap. I get tons of pens and paper and really, they just clutter up my phone counter at home.
Chocolate anything will probably melt. We were there this last weekend (Feb) and it was 85 degrees!!! (That is why the Gift Card comes in so handy~they can buy a treat or snack when they are ready for it!!!
Tylenol and purell is a must along with a bottle of water. If you are going to do snacks, do quality not meltable snacks like individual bags of nuts or granola bars...things like that.
And also, what a great idea to do gift baskets for your chaperones. It really is a lot of work to be a chaperone!!!!!

Bottled water and biscotti were also appreciated.

I so agree with the Tylenol, purell and the gift card to buy a snack or ice cream :) Sounds really nice :)
