Originally Posted By rtjl72 that's interesting that you can order from room service 24 hours a day at the gch. last week at the dlh, room service stopped at 10pm. i know that there wasn't a place on the dlh campus that offered food after 10:00pm. grrr!!! i came back mighty hungry- how did that ever happen?- so back to downtown disney to grab a sandwich to go. the coffee shop was closed at the dlh. maybe the bar had eats, but i wasn't wanting to hang out there a tthat momment. i am thinking that the gch may be a better choice than the dlh. or at least to give it a try. it is that much closer to dl front gate entry-the monorail was just so unreliable!- and room service would have been nice. true, drinks and plentiful snacks were at the concierge lounge, but that was closed at 10pm, too. we did stock up a little during the day, but still no substantial eats. thanks for the info dave!
Originally Posted By davewasbaloo No probs. I love the GCH. My only complaint was White Water Snacks closes at 7pm. But room service was good quality and reasonable priced (for a 4* room service). I love the theming and location. DLH just feels tired to me, but does have some good dining.
