Here is the letter I wrote which I think was fair and true. They do NOT give you a break down of the cost of the room per night so there is no way for you to know if the tickets are included. I later learned that the tickets would be listed seperately. Duh, how would I have known that??? Invoice#211826 I would just like to express my disappointment with the package I purchased and the customer service I received while I was on my trip to Disneyland in November. I purchased the Holiday Inn Anheim Resort Package. I was thrilled with the price of $326 for 5 days and 4 nights so I cancelled my reservations I had with HoJo's at $64 a night for simialar room although HoJO's also included a microwave and closer proximity. Once I arrived to DL to pick up my tickets they could not find them, because it was Sunday you guys were closed. They gave me complimentary passes for the day. On Monday however we called again to find that no tickets were included in my "package". Your staff say that somehow it was removed. I do not see how it could have been removed if you are a "package" company. I went through a lot of hastle just to get into the parks 2 days in a row, had to buy tickets at the parks which is what I wanted to avoid, plus I WAAAAYYY overpaid a hotel. Gratefully the staff at Holiday Inn was exceptional. It would only make sense that your website list the price of each night in the cost. It is almost as if you keep the price hidden which is misleading and wrong. I do feel scammed and am not happy at all that your customer service team could not make this worng right while we standing at guest relations. Sincerely, Zina Clinger

I noticed it brought the price down a bit, but not very much. Also, the Holiday Inn was a stay 4 nights get 1 night free. So, it could have come close to this price based on what I was booked for at HoJo's. If I were getting 1 night free at HoJo's it would have been $192 for the rooms plus our 3 day park hoppers. I thought getaway had access to great deals on the park hoppers. Who am I to know??? Just stunk all the way around. But have no fear. We still had a BLAST on our trip!!!!

I am the type of person to ask a lot of questions when booking anything to make sure that it is the way I want it. I hope that they do the right thing and compensate you for your problems with your tickets. Good luck! Let us know if they compensate you.

Or maybe Getawaytoday has awesome offers and this was a fluke?

Everything I have heard about getawaytoday.com has been positive in the past.

It IS forseeable that for $326 I could get my room at about $190 for 4 nights (if the 4th was free) and then add the tickets to that price...assuming getaway gets a good deal on tickets. I know its a stretch...but there deal is "package deals". I never thought otherwise. I have no idea what happened. I felt very cheated and mislead.

Then again, I always print out all my confirmation stuff and double check the information they send me when it comes to look for my ticket vouchers. The ticket vouchers are what have to be traded in for tickets. We also look at other websites and price hotel and tickets separately. Getawaytoday's typical advantage is that all taxes and resort fees are included in their pricing. Customer Service has always been excellent as well. Depending on what prices for the resort hotels, I may book reservations just for Paradise Pier here in the next month.

Now we have to get some tickets too. I just looked today and found that I could get rooms for $58 per night @ the castle inn without the tickets in January. I have an AP so I would only have to get a ticket for the wife. $119 on the DL site.

They don't pay per room, per night. Typically, you might see a breakdown with total hotel cost, total ticket cost, and then individual optional components you might add, such as airfare or character meals. More often than not, though, you get one total price with no breakdown.
