The first time I saw it was in the rain. Then, last week we saw it in the wind. Both of these were okay but nothing that made me want to see WOC again.
My daughter and her family got FP's for the yellow zone the next night, there was no wind or rain. She said it was phenomenal. She said there was all kinds of stuff we did not see in the wind.
I do not know if I want to work this hard to see a show that seems to be so susceptible to changes in weather but she just went on and on about it the second night.
I think those of us who are saying it is not worth it (including myself) have just been unlucky. But again; it is a lot of effort for *luck of the draw.*

We lined up @ DCA about 30 minutes prior to gate opening. We headed straight for the WOC FP line. It was backed up to the entrance to Condor Flats...which was a little unsettling...but the line moves FAST. It was about a 30 minute wait and we got tickets for the first show.

About 90 minutes prior to the show, I bought an entire pizza. We took it to our designated viewing area and ate dinner while waiting.

After eating, we just chatted with the CMs and other people waiting for the show.

After the show, we waited for just a few minutes...trying to let the traffic clear out. Unfortunately, there was another show and they cleared us out. We were forced to join the "parade" out of the park. It wasn't that bad, though. It moved quickly.

    Have a great time!
