I understand passing alongsome costs - but to try and force peopleout- and forthe most part people who can least afford it on a fixed income - and likely to old to get employed again.

Meanwhile the articles again bring up their whining how they have to support 8 brands marketing wise while Toyota only has 3. Well DUH ! take a freakin hint guys.

Toyota has entry - Scion / family - Toyota & Luxury- Lexus and is kicking your proverbial backsides.

Meanwhile GM keeps around nameplates that no one wants - Buick / Pontiac have seen their day come and go. Hummer - at least they put that for sale. Saab - what the hell were they thinking here?

Make Saturn the entry platform / Chevrolet the family platform, and Cadillac theluxury platform and try and compete for God's sake.

Cutting all the white collar jobs anbd benefits will not make the company get wellif no one wants the product. Business 101.
    so very very sad.

Good times if you are in the market for a SUV.

So, does this mean that the Indians know something we don't, or are they just repeating our mistakes?
