One wonders if he has any sense of how ironic it is that he questions *anyone's* leadership. Doubtful. Oh, and where was the former Vice-President interviewed? On Sean Hannity's show. Make no mistake: These people are nothing more than partisan hacks. We've seen what happens to our country when we let them run the show. Let's hope we never make that mistake again, regardless of which political party it is.

But we've heard that Douglas only does that when he's attacked. But that wasn't the case here. What will his excuse be this time? I can only imagine the semantic games yet to come.

Oh, and he rarely if ever bothers with petty personal attacks.

Keep that in mind, guys, the next time he cries.

Someone else mentioned that everytime Cheney opens his mouth Obama's approval rating shoot up. LOL. I am appalled that Cheney would dare to criticize Obama for trying to repair the damage that was done to our image overseas during Bush's tenure. Slamming him for supposedly shaking Chavez's hand shows just how petty and devious this many really is.

Originally Posted By SingleParkPassholder "Settle down everyone. Doug caught the personal attack, called the OP out, and you guys don't like it. One wonders if he has any sense of how ironic it is that he questions *anyone's* leadership. Doubtful. Oh, and where was the former Vice-President interviewed? On Sean Hannity's show. Let's hope we never make that mistake again, regardless of which political party it is." ecdc called Cheney "one of the worst vice presidents", a clear commentary on his job performance. Then, in reference to Sean Hannity, ecdc said he was a "partisan hack", a clear opinion of Hannity's role on the radio. Nowhere was there an insult directed towards anyone who has ever posted here, much less Cheney or Hannity. This: "Do you have any sense of how ironic it is that you're calling VP Cheney a hack? Doubtful." was a clear, gratuitous attack on ecdc.

And this whole thread could've been a discussion about Cheney's appropriateness or inappropriateness of criticizing Obama less than 100 days in office. But Chris instead is endorsing a personal attack that derailed the discussion, something Douglas does routinely around here. Is that how we want our threads to go? And BTW, we're still not talking about Cheney but the people on these boards, which is how Douglas appears to like it. Ironic for someone who claims to want to discuss the issues only.
