    But, being in the middle isn't good for television ratings, campaign strategists, or fundraisers. For the above mentioned groups (who have all the power), division rules the day.

    I will respect the President until he/she disrespects us. I lost respect for Clinton for diddling an intern in MY Oval Office and I lost respect for Bush for making excuses to go to war.

    I'd say I have not lost respect for Obama, yet, but I certainly have been disappointed by him. Though I would admit that I don't think McCain would have done any better over the past four years.

    Until there is a major shake up in Washington I think the person sitting at the White House is somewhat handcuffed to accomplish much of anything.

They talked to a few people on either side and they acknowledged there's a big problem. Then they talked to McConnell and Reid. And both guys were absolutely blind and clueless as to what is going on. It was very dishearting that the moderate's for either side don't really get a voice.

    If there could be a truly moderate third party, I believe it would win most elections. Politics has been dominated by the shrill in this country for too damn long.
