One question I had: The CM who played the host (Upton O'Good) sounded very familiar. Anybody know if he could have played the genie in the Aladdin stage show at the Hyperion?

We enjoyed him tremendously. The show we went to had unexpected technical difficulties and he had to hold the crowd and keep things up for about 10 minutes. He was really terrific doing it.

It's silly, spooky, and has lots of audience participation. There's also a "meet and greet" with some of the villains. I especially enjoyed watching Foulfellow and Hook dueling with walking sticks.

So this is why so many out there highly criticize California Adventure. I understand now after sitting through Golden Screams

Even by DCA standards, this was an embarrassment. I felt sorry for the host - one of the Billy Hill guys - who gave it his all.

The thing is so cheaply produced - it's just stunning how cobbled together it looks. You get the impression that the idea for this was formed and executed in a weekend. And it probably was.

They couldn't even spring for a decent projection system? The scenes they pulled from various Disney movies have little more resolution than a Quicktime off YouTube.

This was just insulting. No quality here. Don't bother.

Yes, it was packed today as well.

But if you miss out because of huge crowds, don't cry. Fortune has done you a favor. This is a monumental waste of time, creativity, and intelligence.
