    we only go through palm springs / riverside / anaheim / new port beach

    so do you know of any great tasteing food places? we wish a list..

    we dont care for the donuts. every time we tried them we found them at corner stores and found them to be way to sweet. kind of like whle thing drowned-dipped in iceing ..too sweet. we are going to try one from the bake shop if we ever find one. but you know how iceing taste. its like layers of that. on the ones we tryed. threw them away yuck.

    I am hopeing you know of good sandwichs and or BBQ ..any little place like they show on diners drive-ins and dives show.

    ORDDU: Actually, teddi, dear, there is a wonderful place in Newport Beach called the French Market that appears to be in a residential setting where they have all manner of wonderful food--pancakes, health items like vege burgers, etc. I don't recall the address but it's near the ocean. If you get the chance, do stop in. My sisters and I have eaten there serveral times. They allow you to eat in the back yard that is full of bird baths, wind chimes and antiques. So it's not just a restaurant but a shop as well. It's got a very relaxing setting...

They had the best bbq foods we have ever tried. They also have a location in Hollywood and it was closed when we went :(
