She got up this morning unable to walk, they called the doctor and he sent for an ambulance. Not sure what the prognosis is at the moment, she's 85 years old, and has been suffering a little with ill health for the past year or so. Any good thoughts you might be able to share would be much appreciated. She's a pretty amazing lady, she was enrolled during the second world war, working in the munitions factories, and has been a school chef, as well as raising 5 children and having 3 husbands. They have increased her water tablets to see if that works, if not they're going to operate to draw some of the fluid off. There has also been some mention that it could be the beginnings of heart failure. So we really need to keep everything crossed and hope for the best. Originally Posted By smedley Thanks guys, not a lot new to report today, other than the drugs they've got her taking have got her pretty spaced out, apparently my aunt and uncle were playing peek a boo through the ceiling with her after visiting last night! I thank you for all the good thoughts, and I know that prayers are being said for her at the local church she attends every week (not this weekend though, she is not happy about missing the easter masses) I will let you know as I know.
