The Grand does have a limited number of 2 queen beds and a daybed, all with standand view only. You can definitely request it, but there are no guarantees. I had 3 women and a 10 year old boy and put in for that room configuration and when I got there they had not given it to me. After talking to the CM, she willingly switched to the two beds, one daybed. Those rooms are a little bigger than the other rooms, and above the entrance to the Grand. If you look at the Grand map, (SuzieQ posted it in another thread recently) you can see the rooms that are a little longer above where you pull your car in. Good luck!

To me, it's a matter of budget and taste, if you want to splurge on the Grand, taking turns spending one night in a sleeping bag mightn't be a deterrent. If it came to that!

Unless you are all small people - the GCH does have a room option with a queen bed bunkbeds, but the bunkbeds are for people 5'3' and under.

Is there any reason you aren't considering the DLH? That is my favorite, and we have always gotten two queens and a daybed there.

The staff is not quite as stuffy or formal as they tend to be at the Grand. And besides, you can use all the amenities of the other two hotels and have a larger room to boot!
