This show was and is perfect for the theming of Main Street, it was a favorite of Mr. Disney himself and it taught us (and our children), the importance of history (you actually learned something about this country's history and one of its greatest presidents). Thats what Disneyland is supposed to be about..

"..Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams and the hard facts that have created America.."

They need to get rid of that 50th show.. enough is enough!

The last time I checked (quite recently, actually), the cast member rather reluctantly said that they could not say when Mr. Lincoln would be returning to the Opera House.

This Land of Lincoln show is a four score!

It really had an impact on me when I was small. I would watch him with my mouth gaping open knowing (and completely convinced) that I had Mr. Abraham Lincoln speaking in front of me! And I remember always paying such close attention to everything he would say. Thanks to DL the attraction made me want to learn all about Abe and is probably responsible for my admiration for him at such a young age.

    BRING ABE BACK!!

I mean, at some point the 50th anniversary movie will get outdated (well, technically it is already). Who wants to go watch a movie about the 50th anniversary on Disneyland's 75th anniversary???
