Early last year she had an emergency operation after experiencing peritonitis and diverticulitis of the lower colon. This was followed by nearly a year off the list for a heart transplant as she waited for all infection to clear up. This winter Jamie was finally put back on the list for a heart transplant. And on last Wednesday, she got her new heart! She is still recuperating at the hospital, with a lengthy convalescence ahead. But 2013 will be the start of a whole new lease on life.

Will be anxious to hear updates on her progress. Our love to the whole family.
