MK is open many nights either until 11 PM or midnight. DAK has many closings at 8 PM.

I know the early closings were a big compaint of many here on LP.com and I can understand why.

Do you think WDW will continue offering better hours?

Unfortunately, Epcot's hours aren't improving. The park will continue closing at 9 PM.

MK used to always be open until at least midnight starting in June, so it's not like they are giving guests something extra. They just aren't closing at the ridiculously early 9 and 10 o'clock hours they did a few years ago.

DAK's original hours were 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. every day, so again, nothing special. They're extending to see if Everest keeps people in the park longer, if it does, they'll keep it open later but only during summer and holidays.

EPCOT hasn't had later than 9 p.m summer closings in a decade. I won't tell newbies how Epcot was routinely opened until 11 or midnight, the whole park not just WS, in summers past.

So while hours are improving, especially if you're a resort guest with EMH's, they are by no means what they used to be before the massive slashing began in the 90s and early 00s'

I just wanted to point out that this is an improvement, because I know earlier closings in the summer was a big complaint here on the boards. Sorry, I thought 11:00 and midnight closings at MK was better than 9:00 and 10:00 closings.

But there's no doubt midnight closings beat 9 or 10, that's for sure.

And yes, some restaurants will serve until about an hour prior to closing no matter what time that is. All of Main Street will remain open until 1 a.m. (on midnight closings) for your shopping convenience.
