This is the story of the two boys found in Missouri, one of whom had been missing for four years. The police were serving an unrelated warrant when one of them noticed a white pickup truck that matched the description in the latest kidnapping. In a time when the police get ripped for all sorts of things, and things get politicized and overblown by partisan hacks, it's nice to see great work by those officers. Let's hope the perpetrator never sees the light of day ever again.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that they are kids and are afraid to even try, or something else, like the kidnapper becomes some sort of parental figure. Who knows.

The story is very light in detail, but you'd think that there'd be some way to at the very least make a lot of noise that would attract attention. I'm guessing that this case will end up involving some pretty nasty psychological trauma as these cases often do that will explain some of this. And I second the notion: excellent police work.
