For anyone who has made tshirts for their large Disneyland group - are there any copyright issues using Disney graphics when homeprinting (I'll be doing 10 matching shirts)? Also, does anyone have a site that I can download CLEAR, precise graphics from, as I'm having trouble enlarging clip art.
    Thanks!

You might be safer if you make the shirts 'Disney-esque' rather than straight lifts of Disney art. More generic elements like 'pixie dust' stars, fireworks and such, rather than an actual image of Mickey Mouse.

Again, it might not be a big deal -- I've seen group shirts in the parks every so often that do have recognizable characters on them. But just know that Disney, like most companies, protects its copyright material pretty vigorously, so making shirts is a roll of the dice.

If any of the character warehouses are around your area, you could buy a bunch of Disney shirts pretty cheap, or get them from Target or someplace, and add "THE STEPH-N-KEV FAMILY DISNEYLAND VACATION 2006" on the back. Then you're totally safe.

I found that the VERY BEST color and clarity were on the site dltk-kids.com. They had characters from winnie the pooh, monsters inc, and toy story. The pictures looked wonderful, and were pretty large, too. More characters may have been added since I used this site. Check it out, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

We wore them on the plane trip there and again one day in the parks. We got alot of compliments on them!

So even though we didn't use any Disney graphics, it still got the point across!

We got many, many comments on the shirts from cast members, but all positive. I even wrote down directions for one cm who wanted to make the shirt.

(they are fairly easy to make!)

Also, I've used my own pictures of the castle, I've even printed out from a Disney wallpaper from the Disney Dashboard. The 50th Castle wallpaper. I've never been told that I can't wear my shirt in the park. If your not making a profit and it's in good taste I'm sure your ok.
