    If we're going to bail out the Big Three, why not toss a bone to porn makers?

    Porn is big biz. HUGE biz.

    It's consumed by millions of Americans. It employs thousands of Americans.

    So what that Hustler magazine stupidly hasn't figured out that people get their porn from the internet these days. So what that the producers of "Girls Gone Wild" haven't taken a look at what really sells and then modified their DVD's to be more in line with consumer demand.

    To me, the business failings of Hustler and GGW seem exactly analagous to those of the US automakers, who just got showered with a wad of money from the feds -- and with only light restraints, to boot.

    Flynt is a jerk. "Girls Gone Wild" is stupid. Yet I seriously do not see a substantive difference between their pleas for bailout monies and the successful whimpering of Ford, GM, and whatever that other company is.
