However, I won't be bringing any kids with me to do the trick-or-treating or anything. So here's my question: How does the Halloween Party thing play for adults? Is it worth it to pay extra for an evening in DCA or is it more than that? Opinions, please.

Originally Posted By rockcow1 << I would recommend bringing an extra bag or two; the one they gave us got too full>> Totally agree! Last year my family had to buy an extra suitcase to bring candy home. We took pillowcases and all four were about 2/3's full. They were VERY generous. It was fun! Do it at least once!

Two more lovely candidates for our 1st International 2009 Meet (or whatever it's called) for the first weekend (and days adjacent) in December '09! The first mini-meet to be declared is the chocolate meet that will be held at the heights of Tarzan's treehouse. Check out the "Kisses for SoThisIsLove" thread at your leisure and join the fun. We will have to have a blood-brothers kind of thing, I'm thinking. Instead of pricking blood and shaking hands, perhaps we could just melt a kiss or something and bond. My DD33 made me the greatest sign with her vinyl lettering machine: "Chocolate. It's not just for breakfast anymore!"

They had a blast and the costume stayed on all night It's kind of hard to explain the "vibe." You will see adorable families dressed in themed costumes, adults in street clothes, casual costumes and full theatric gowns and makeup. There is music, a small parade at the end which is cute and LOTS of candy. One tip, try not to head into "Hollywood" for the trick or treat trails. This area tends to get clogged up as many people head into this "dead" end area. Hit some rides, get in lines if they are short, there is PLENTY of candy even when the party is ending We went into the Redwood Trail for the first time during the Treat. It's a great way to check out some things that you may not see otherwise. Another fun thing is TOT with an elevator full of costumed adults I have a picture of my candy stash. I'll see if I can post it. One year I rode on Soarin with Superman next to me

Each station has a healthy choice. Sometimes they'd hand you both. The healthy choices came in handy the next day in Disneyland The games are also open and you receive a prize whether you win or not
