All of our plans for yesterday vanished quickly when it started raining early morning, (it hasn´t rained a drop since March) and it wasn´t exactly rain, it was a great big thunderstorm that lasted all day long. So our plans to have a good ol American breakfast in town, a first time visit to the zoo with DS, and a romantic dinner for 2 at a Greek restaurant on their lovely terrace turned into scrambled eggs for breakfast, lots of "oooing" and "aaaahing" through the window with DS, homemade pizzas with extra everything on them and a Disney movie marathon the whole afternoon/evening. We ended up having loads of fun despite the ugly weather. (of course, at this very moment it is a lovely Sunday morning here with blue skies all over) Anyway, thanks again, it´s greatly appreciated. Being so far away from home, birthdays and holidays always get me a bit down... apart from the fact that it is yet another year!
