Being we had a late Friday night, early Saturday and another late Saturday night we decided to let Jacob sleep in. We brought breakfast stuff to eat in the room. Jacob has learned the art of lounging and taking his time from his mama. It’s hard to rush him, so I just decided to go with the flow. My mom and I come enough that there was nothing we were missing by taking it slow.

We opened the motel door and both said “ugh†it was going to be another hot day. 85+ degrees again. So much for the peppermint mocho around the fire. LOL! We got to Disneyland around 10:15am. Guess what we did first? BUZZ. As soon as we were off the ride Jacob says “we better get a FP Nina.†Aye yi yi Buzz is like crack for kids. ;> We needed to kill about one hour before the LP mini-meet so we went into the Tiki Room. Jacob loves this. He found a seat where he and his Uncle Terry (my dad) sat when he was three. The kid is already big on tradition. We sang along with the birdies – tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet.

We decided on Corn dogs as our lunch at the meet. We caught up with Sia, Angela and the girls. They had been Libby Lu’ed. They were glitterized. Hair extensions, glued stars on their faces, glittery silver lipstick, backpacks, etc. <in my most sarcastic tone> How cute! We all got our dogs and moved over to the meet. Wendebird, Hubbybird and the birdlettes were already there. They had Libby Lu’ed the day before, so the girls all got together to compare their glitter levels. My mom and I found a table far away. LOL! We ate, em came and another LP’er that I know from the Bay Area meets but I cannot remember her screen name. ;( em looked great, she met and we all laughed about Sia and the blown 10,000 post. Everyone mingled a bit and we decided to go see Billy Hill.
As always Billy Hill was hilarious. My family loves Billy and the boys, so we had a grand time.

Afterwards Sia and the girls went off to hit big rides. Angela took Jacob to ride Dumbo and some other Fantasyland rides as I had a special top secret mission I had to take care. My mom came along because she can keep a secret. We met up with another LP agent, handled the assignment, took some photos and parted way. Thank you very much to the other special agent and mission accomplished!!!

Sia phoned us – where are you, what are you doing? Aye yi yi woman! We met whiny butt and the girls at the Jungle Cruise, soon Angela was calling – where are you, what are you doing? We waited for her too. We decided now was a good time to go do the Santa’s Reindeer Round Up. We found the sled parked outside and all posed for pictures. It finally started to feel like the holidays. The line for Santa was a bit long the kids didn’t want to stand in it (that became the theme of the trip). Gee, no FP to take a picture with Santa, I’m not doing it. Way too many video games and HDAD K945 overloaded diagnosed kids. No one has any patience anymore which makes me impatient – not a good mix. We smelled the reindeer and followed the scent to eww and ahh at them. We met Miss Chris here. LOL – she was so funny. She explained that Santa’s first team reindeer were up at the North Pole training and resting, these reindeer were the second team, their names were Velma, Roxie, Clyde, etc. I think Miss Chris is related to Verna. She taught the kids how to do a “Reindeer Howdy.†We then made reindeer snow flakes and decorated cookies. The kids had a blast. They did the Hokey Pokey and sang PLUTO version of BINGO. This was way better than the cookie decorating in front of the Fire Station on Main Street. I advise anyone with little ones to take the time to do this. Stay around for the music and games. It’s well worth it for your kids. You can tell the CM’s are having a blast working this. They were great with our kids. The kids were now cranked up on cookie frosting and raring to go.

We got in line for Holiday Small World. It looked worse than it was. We had a great time. Jacob calls it the “singing girl dollies†ride. I love it at Christmas. When we came out the lights were on, so BEAUTIFUL. Angela took Jacob and the girls to ToonTown, Sia, my mom and I headed over to Big Thunder Mountain. It had broken down several times during the day. So when we heard it running we hustled over to ride it. We met JoJo and Jerome there and we all rode together.

We grabbed some dinner at Rancho Z. I love the tamale special dinner there. Pretty decent tasting. We sat and talked to the boys about being girl crazy and other teenager stuff. We had a nice leisurely dinner. My mom and I were headed to the Opera House; I figured it was a good time being we were by ourselves for her to see it. We could take our time. While walking on Main Street Angela called saying she needed to drop Jacob back off to me. So we met on Main Street – change of plans. I took Jacob on Autopia. I know need traction and a good chiropractor but Jacob had a grand time driving. Guess what we did next? I know just tell you right? Buzz!! This time the CM who pushed the front of your vehicle up to you saluted us. Oh Lordy did that make Jacob’s night!

8:30pm – time to find our seats for fireworks. We found a great spot on Main Street right up front at the rope. Called Wende and told her just to come right there. JoJo made a cotton candy run, I was trying to keep Jacob awake as we had not taken a break back to the room today. So, all the kids ate Cotton Candy and we adults talked. Right at 9:25pm they made the announcement again. No fireworks. That meant Sia, Angela, Wendy and all the kids would not be seeing fireworks on this trip. ;( My mom, Lula, Jacob and I had two more chances.

Jacob was pretty hyped up now, I don’t know why. So we went and did Casey’s Train, we sat in the Monkey Cage which he found highly amusing. Rode Pinocchio, the Carousel, Snow White, and Dumbo. It was now about 10:30pm so we decided to just call it a night. We strolled down Main Street, got to the Opera House and I asked my mom and Jacob if they wanted to go see the movie about Walt? They said yes, so we went in. I didn’t think the museum part would be that entertaining to a five year old but my junior LP’er Jacob loved it. We read each display, looked at all the pictures and artifacts. He flipped over the large scale model of Disneyland. Pointing out the lands, the attractions, etc. Maynard was the CM there that night. He got a kick out of Jacob, talking to him.
He LOVED the movie, especially Steve Martin and Donald Duck’s interaction.

We got back to the room around 11:40pm. Jacob fell face first onto the bed sound asleep. I didn’t have the heart to try and put his pj’s on, so I just took off his shoes, socks, and jeans. He slept in his t-shirt and underwear. He was done! LOL!
