(We used to go out for dinner and dancing with her and her hubby but with three kids it has become a family thing.)

As for me, Valentine's day is now focussed on family and friends since I am now single. I phoned up an aunt who is single and I chatted with her. It was a nice highlight to the day. Our new daughter in law sent us a picture, via e mail, of valentine cookies that she and our son made Just too cute to think of our 26 year old son trying to make heart shaped cookies. I sent a card to and also phoned my mom just for a chat. The whole day had bits of love. No chocolates or Hallmark cards required
