I ordered my copy from Amazon, which I wasn't sure was the right thing to do, since it would mean waiting about 13 hours after the midnight release. This way, though, I won't have to worry about anyone giving away the ending in the line at the store. I know I won't have the strength to avoid the ending, but I hope to get about a third of the way through before I peak. I am planning on skipping the Table of Contents this time. Last one, I figured out what was going to happen and it almost made me not want to read it.

The good thing for those who don't want spoilers is as stated earlier there are too many to know what is fake. I won't share my predictions because I have a feeling they're wrong and I don't want to look like a fool...

That's the main reason I don't think Harry dies... I think Rowling would still like him around for future use. A billion dollars just doesn't go as far as it used to. One of these days Rowling may want to pull Harry out again and pump up her bank account. I don't think the series would focus on Harry Potter. I think Harry and some of the other kids from the current series would become faculty at Hogwarts, and a new series would start watching another bunch of kids grow up.

I didn't read the review, but it is supposed to be complementary about the book, and doesn't give out any spoilers, but does mention a few plot points.

Both reviews use the word "bildungsroman," a word that up until this day, I had never even heard before.

I'm sure she's a clever enough writer that fans will buy anything else she ever chooses to write. It doesn't need to be about Harry. <---kids are counting down the hours and listening to book 5 on tape. My Umbridge costume is ready for the party tomorrow. Anybody have a spare pink pillbox hat?

That's where the marauder's map came from, the whomping willow, and Lupin's curse. Who knows what she will do later on. She has said she's done with the series but will not say "never" to more books...she needs to keep her options open.

SPOILER WARNING(but has nothing to do with the plot) Super nice, always proper Mrs. Weasley calls Bellatrix Lestrange a very naughty name ( female dog ) I was LMAO when I heard that

I read constantly - usually history. But I've never, ever had as much fun reading as when I'm reading a Harry Potter book.
