Look at Pirates of the Caribbean, both Disney theme parks[Disneyland and Walt Disney World]have recently added Captain Jack Sparrow and Barbossa to the classic Disney attraction.

Disney management in Florida is afraid to close any major attraction for any real length of time to clean, rehab and refresh them because you get people whining when their faves aren't available. It is the exact opposite of how WDW was run in its first 20 yaers. I can recall visiting when the MK was the only park, so there weren't so many other options, and one day Mansion, Space Mountain, 20,000 Leagues and Peter Pan were ALL closed for rehab. I wasn't thrilled (heck, I was a kid) but it didn't ruin my visit or scar me for life. Disney needs to go back to that so that its attractions aren't falling apart like they are now. DL doesn't seem to care, which is why everything looks so good and fresh whenever I visit.

I agree with you regarding The Haunted mansion movie, it was terrible? Like everyone I like the HM attraction but some changes would be nice. I would like to see it done up in the NBC theme like in DL.

People who think WDW is the best and only Disney experience for them are really missing out on a lot ... right TDLFAN?
