Google hasn't helped (I even did some searches within Doombuggies.com, but came up empty).

Can any LPers come to my rescue? Maybe a LPer/CM? :)

    Thanks!

Although, there is about a two foot wide walkway around the octagons of the two stretch rooms. It's made of unfinished wood, and it is directly behind the windows of the north, east and south side of the mansion. The walkways allow access to the upper portion of the stretch rooms, and also contain the machines that creat the lighting effects of the passing candle in front of each window.

In the southwest corner of the second floor, there is a slightly larger space that has some storage cabinets. This is the space directly above the CM breakroom that is on the same level as the Foyer, in the opposite corner of the mansion.

There is also a level above the second floor, that has access to the roofs of the stretch room and the hanging body effect.

And then there's the ladder up to the cupola on the roof of the mansion where tenured maids and butlers of the mansion sign their names on the wall. Not that I would know anything about that. ;-)

I was just cruising various Disney stuff on YouTube yesterday and the question was sparked. I can't even remember what I was watching at the time! *LOL*

Well, just so you know, you started the thread one day after the Mansion turned 39. (It opened on August 9, 1969).

My family moved to LV on July 4, 1969. My best friend in Torrance invited me down for a two-week visit later that summer and her mom took us to Disneyland - SPECIFICALLY for for the new Haunted Mansion I'd been waiting for...for seemingly forever (at 11 years old those years from the time the facade was built 'til grand opening WAS "forever!" :)

I honestly don't know why they don't keep selling lenticular pins of the portraits...or even those of the staring portraits from WDW (yes, I know they're no longer there).
