The design is similar to a spider web, which looke really strange in DL's rectangular foyer. In WDW's and TDL's octagonal foyers, I think it would work out much better. But it still looks kind of tacky, and ruins the look of the house being real, for me. But then again, there are usually so many people in there that you can't even see the floor.
