You couldn't be further off base with regard to Hong Kong. HKDL is majority-owned by the Hong Kong government, not the Chinese government. The national government has nothing to do with HKDL. Hong Kong is essentially the same as it was under British rule: a full-fledged capitalist system, with Western-style civil rights (including freedom of speech) and rule of law.

Now, when Shanghai DL opens, you might have a point, but not with HKDL.

That may be true, but it has nothing to do with Communism, as Hong Kong still has a western-style form of government. A lot in the world has changed since 1997 - that may have something to do with Hong Kong's current issues.

... except nobody forces anyone to work for Disney. It's always a voluntary relationship. Not quite the same thing as having the fate of being born in a Communist country and just having to deal with it.

If I recall, weren't most of Disney's rules that you listed started by Walt himself???

    :)

I know that I'm limited by what I can do or say by my employer, too. It's not communism, it's just a way to do old fashioned capitalisic business!
