Would you do riverside or Balcony? It will be winter so I wonder how cold it will be...has anyone done it in the Winter...what was your thoughts?
I like the "look" of the riverside because you are closer but I think the desserts sound better Balcony. Can you get hot cocoa and coffee at both? Or only riverside?
Last question...we are staying at the GCH so we could use Vacation Planning to make the ressies...do you know the number? Also how bad is second row since I have small children and it will stink if we pay $240 for seating and they have to stand on a chair or our laps the whole show.

THank YOU Thank you for any advice.

I let VP make our ressies...you can call them now and they will make them on the appropriate date, 30 days prior to the performance. We got first in and choice of seats letting VP do it. And, did not have to worry about remembering to call! Your credit card will be charged, and you can pick up the tickets when you check in at the hotel.

I have never done the riverside, but I think that you have to do the balcony atleast once in your life.

That being said, when we went last year, there were 3 small kids behind us and they loved being able to be in the back row. They were closer to the desserts! They could stand on the chairsor their parents laps. Then they could also get up and wonder a little without bothering anyone. I think that you should do the balcony, you wont regret it!!

I've done balcony three times and riverside twice. I prefer riverside because you are up close. If you haven't done balcony then its fun to do it at least once.

As far as the temperature goes, one year it was so-gosh-darn-cold-you-better-wear-a-warm-coat-hat-and-gloves-weather and another year it was short sleeves weather.

Can you see the fireworks very well from the Balcony...or better from the Riverside?

Not that it is terrible from the Balcony, just better with Riverside.

It is a bit more time spent than for the balcony but we find that if we have either seating we want to be in NOS well ahead of time so we don't have to worry or rush.
