We could spend more days there ( 6 or 7), but I worry about the heat. We are going to spend a couple of days at Universal in FL. this summer. I guess I'll see how Nathan does with that heat. I'm prepared to spend the afternoons in the hotel with him at Universal. Summer at CA isn't as hot as FL is it? Option #2-Fall Break. Would have to fly ( adding to cost) on Tuesday aft. October 16. Would be at DL Wed-Sat (Oct. 17-20). Fewer days, but better weather. How would the crowds and cost of hotels be? Kids would have to miss 1 day of school. Option #3- Thanksgiving break- we've been there over Thanksgiving break before several years ago. It seems like it didn't get too crowded until Wed. afternoon. We could drive and be at DL Sat evening-Wed. before Thanksgiving. I love the decor at that time, but how are the crowds now at that time? Option #4- January 2-5 ( Wed.-Sat) Would have to fly to get the kids back in time for school on the 7th. Or we could stay more days and go earlier, but I assume that NY eve and day would be a mad house. Are the days after after New Years still wild? Thanks for all the help- I'm leaning towards summer if Nathan can handle the heat. With the longer hours, and more days there, I think we could handle the crowds. But if he can't handle the heat, what would be the best alternative? Thanks.
