Confirmation my idea to get into the parking structure will work? I thought of DtD parking .. but the most I'll get is 5 hours .. and I'll be in the park perhaps 7 hours. And rather than leave the park .. re-park my car .. I'm trying to think of the easiest plan possible. thanks!

By the sound of it ... my party will need to scan my AP in at the front .. as they enter too ... So fastpass machines will work for my AP. I just hope the CM working at the front will understand and take our explanation ... that my party wants to get a couple of fastpasses .. so we can go on some of the bigger rides TOGETHER .. As far as parking, you can always pay for it and then take your AP and parking stub in to guest services - they might refund your money...

That's exactly what they said - basically. Poo! It's family from the eastcoast who I haven't seen in a couple years .. only day to go to DL is on a day I have to work ... so I thought I could maximize our time together by going on a half a dozen rides once I get their in the eve... instead of 1 or 2 in long lines. sucks! Oh well. At least I have a clear understanding on the stipulations on usage of AP, whether the intentions are GOOD or not. thanks everyone.

So that means ... no Star Tours/Indy type rides no coaster rides ... the only fastpass rides we would do together would be Soarin' and Splash Mountain. Anyone have an idea what the stand by line will be like for Soarin' around 5pm on a Saturday?
