I'll start with the good so we can quickly get it out of the way. One of the ONLY two reasons I have for visiting your park is to dine at the Brown Derby, so clearly you're doing something right at the high end of the Food and Beverage spectrum. But quick serve? Well, it's a total disaster. Ever had a burger at Rosie's? They're inedible. For the first time in my life and hundreds of visits, I walked into Guest Relations and demanded a refund over the summer because they were so bad and the location was so woefully understaffed that if I had tried to get back to the serving window, a riot would have likely erupted. Unfortunately, a dear friend of mine was unaware of this and went last week and had a similar experience. C'mon, this isn't a coconut-crusted salmon served over Israeli couscous in a heirloom tomato compote with broccolini ... it's a freaking cheeseburger. If Wendy's on 535 can make me a tasty fresh one for 99 cents at midnight, why can't Disney do the same for $7? Can you explain that? Is there an explanation other than serving low quality food to meet your projected numbers? Also, you might want to tell someone they really need to clean the window sills at the ABC Commissary ... not that Bob and Willow would be caught dead dining there (this isn't Michael and Jane, so they won't even fake it), but if they did would you want them to notice all the dead bugs (maybe some live ones too?) that line the length of the windows? Again, don't know (or care) if it's lack of training or what, but if the Cuban sandwich isn't bad enough or the overbattered fish and chips, no one wants a side of dead bugs with their magical Disney meal. And tell the bartender at the bar across from the no-backlot Backlot Tour that for $8 he could put some alcohol in the margaritas. If I wanted a slush, I'd head to 7-11. So see if you can work on it, OK? Would you want the local Chow Hound writing about your current offerings? Thanks, ~a friendly Spirit~

BTW you have certainly had a lot of good thing to say about the World lately I can't wait to get down to see the improvemets. Thanks as always for thoughtful and honest reviews.

The problem with Disney is the company has become so inconsistent. You can get one thing greatly improved when across the walkway you get a new disaster at the same time. Ultimately, WDW needs a massive housecleaning in the exec suites. <<Thanks as always for thoughtful and honest reviews.>> Thanks for reading.

And when, oh when, are they going to change out the loop on the TVs; adding PrimeTime commercials doesn't alter the fact that the main scenes haven't changed in years. We need new memories.

I've probably been to 50s a good 6 or more times in the past 2-3 years, and I've never had a bad experience. Good food, great service, and a great atmosphere.

Just like Whispering Canyon.
