It's a treasure hunt, in the "Da Vinci Code"/"National Treasure" vein. The heroes are participating in Mouse Adventures (a mouseplanet.com event at Disneyland), when they find a secret diary in Walt Disney's handwriting, which gives them a clue to follow. That clue leads to another, and you know the rest. There's romance, gunplay, Disney trivia, and the promise of wealth.

The authors published this themselves, and well, how can I put this politely? It reads like something written by enthusiastic and talented amateurs. A professional editor would have tightened up the language, heightened the drama, and made the characters more believable. Still, if you're willing to take it on its own level, it's a lot of fun.

I'm giving it 4 stars out of 5.

Order directly from the authors here: <a href="http://hiddenmickeybook.com/" target="_blank">http://hiddenmickeybook.com/</a>
Search online bookstores for it here: <a href="http://www.isbns.net/search/?query=9780974902623" target="_blank">http://www.isbns.net/search/?q...74902623</a>

And yes, it's available at Compass Books in DTD: <a href="http://booksinc.net/Anaheim" target="_blank">http://booksinc.net/Anaheim</a>
