It just really fit into the whole late 70s/early 80s vibe that EPCOT had during that time period. I remember seeing it in Fantasyland in the late 80s too, and didn't think it worked as well there.

I don't see them running EO for that long, either. Let EO play for a year, year and a half, announce the new JII at the D23 Expo in 2011, close it all down and let work begin. If they play their cards right, the transition could be seamless.
