Since MILF is already an attraction at the Magic Kingdom, does that mean that HISTA would return (bad move, IMO) - or would there be something new to replace it? Your thoughts?

Personally, I don't hold out much hope that this will ever happen - if Disney actually cared, they wouldn't have left that embarrassment of an attraction running there for so long. Journey into Imagination should have been shutdown and properly updated years ago.

It is a part of the overall Imagination Institute theming that they added with the first redo of the ride (and have kept around for the most part with the second redo). If they do plan to replace it, they will likely want to do something that keeps the two attractions connected like that, but they could definitely do it in a different way (especially if they're also redoing the ride).

Does anybody know a general number of guests that HISTA gets on an average day? Or how busy it is relative to the other 3D films? It was the only one that we skipped on our trip in the spring, so I have no idea.

Frankly, I'd like to see Disney drop the 3D theater and come up with something else. 3D movies are really becoming to common and I'd love to see Disney come up with something else for that space.

    Well .. it's not just "becoming" .. it's here!

Have you read how many theaters in the US alone are playing Avatar in 3D right now?

    Just over 2,000!

    And that's just Avatar.

More 3D films are on their way .... Including Disney's own - Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp this March.
