Anyone been to both that can comment? I guess I'm just wondering if one is way nicer than the other and/or if the walk is that long from HOJO's? We have stayed at the DL hotel many times and have always walked through DT disney to get to the parks. Is the walk from HOJO's to the park about the same? Thanks for any advice!

If you'll only be making the "trek" to and from the park once a day, you'll be fine with HOJO's.

I stayed at the HoJo's a few weeks ago - and my group of young adult friends were DYING on the walk back to the hotel - our feet hurt so bad! Of course, we were going gung-ho every second from park opening to closing.

I stayed at BWPPI once and that was enough. Yuck. Small pool, cramped parking, dark rooms, the breakfast is free but not great. Its only about 5 mins longer down to Hojo and well worth it (for my family)

I've stayed at Hojo's many times and my sister has stayed at BWPPI and said the rooms were nicer at Hojo's. The only plus is it is not quite the walk, although it's only another 3-4 minute walk to Hojo's. The pool is way nicer at Hojo's, too. So if your family is swimming I'd go for Hojo's easily.

Our daughter is 4 and we still bring her stroller with us so she can nap at the park if necessary, etc. If the hotel isn't much father than like walking to DLH then we'll be fine. We always have gone back mid-day for a swim there so we should be okay at HOJO's. We're going the 9th-14th and have tickets to Mickey's Halloween treat on the 12th. Looks like quite a few LP'ers will be there as well. Can't wait to see the Halloween decorations. It will be our first time.

    Thanks for the help!

We usually rent one on their “mini suites†which has 2 queen beds and a queen fold-out sofabed. And while their breakfast may not be great, it is good enough to get you started in the morning and into the park. Hojo’s definitely has nicer grounds, a nicer pool area and much better parking. To a 4 year old, the hotel pool may be a better ride than anything in the park.

Building 1 is supposed to be the one with the park view - right?
Thanks for all of the help.

To see the fireworks from building 1, make sure you are on a high floor and don't have trees in front of your balcony!

I think the two are vastly different while being similar. LOL!

BWPPI is a big cement building with little amenities when it comes to a resort feel. The pool is very small and it's basically a parking lot with a building in the middle. However, the rooms are great. Large, larger than normal mini fridge, microwave, desk, table, sofa and beds. Closest motel to the parks.

HoJo's is more kid friendly with great pools, nice motel grounds, brighter rooms and inside halls.

They both have free interent, mini-marts either on site or next door, cleanliness, wonderful staffs.

Its just a matter of what you are looking for. They are both good deals on Harbor.
