Crowds will drop off amazingly after the first weekend in January. The Christmas celebration will be over and kids back in school. The park will be much, much less crowded after that.

It was sunny and warm and I think it just drew people to the parks as the year before it rained, so people stayed away! You will still have a great time but don't expect it to be quiet! Also you would have to get some rides in like HM and Small world as soon as you get there as, I believe they close down in early Jan to remove the overlays! We have been to three NYE's at the park and our last two were spent in DCA and we had a great time! Have fun!

Can you come earlier? Like the last week in November (after Thanksgiving) & early December? Much emptier but still Christmas-y.

I was especially impressed with how much we accomplished on 1/3. We were there from open until close, but we covered much of the park, including shows, Billy Hill and reserved Fantasmic seating.

We last went in September '05 and I think you were headed there for Christmas that year and then on to N.Y. How did it all go? I can't believe you've gone again so soon. You have obviously been hooked like my wife. She can't wait to get back to DLR again. Mind you, I'm not objecting too hard. Momofbuzzfan, I'd love to come earlier, but my holidays don't start until late December, (school holidays,) and I'm running out of Long Service Leave owing to the fact that I've been to Disneyland so often.
