    It’s raining here in orange. Nothing big though.yet. I’m waiting for this HUGE heavy rain storm the weather people keeping saying we are going to have….the rain that is happening right now in orange is nothing compared to what the weather people said we are going to have.! But if there is a tornado in your area.. or you see one. Get under something, stay away from windows and cover your self with a mattress or something like that.

    STRONG STORMS BATTERED SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA MONDAY AND TUESDAY. MORE
    STORMS OVER THE PACIFIC WILL AFFECT THE AREA THIS WEEK. THE NEXT
    STORM WILL ARRIVE LATE WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND WILL CONTINUE THROUGH
    WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND BRING MORE HEAVY RAIN...FLOODING...AND SEVERE
    WEATHER. THIS WILL FOLLOWED BY YET ANOTHER POWERFUL STORM THURSDAY
    INTO FRIDAY.

    STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WITH THESE SYSTEMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF
    PRODUCING LARGE HAIL...WINDS GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH...AND
    FLOODING RAINS. ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS WILL REMAIN FAVORABLE FOR
    ISOLATED TORNADOES OR WATERSPOUTS.

    BOUTS OF HEAVY SNOW AND STRONG WINDS WILL IMPACT THE MOUNTAINS AT
    TIMES THROUGH FRIDAY. THE SNOW LEVEL WILL LOWER TO 4000 FEET
    LOCALLY...BUT MOST OF THE HEAVY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE ABOVE
    6000 FEET WHERE MORE WINTER STORM WARNINGS WILL BE NEEDED.

    THIS WEEK-LONG EVENT WILL GENERATE RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 4 TO 8 INCHES
    WEST OF THE MOUNTAINS...AND 15 TO LOCALLY 30 INCHES ON THE COASTAL
    MOUNTAIN SLOPES. DESERT LOCATIONS ARE LIKELY TO RECEIVE BETWEEN 2
    AND 4 INCHES OF RAIN.

    WITH MORE HEAVY RAIN ON ALREADY SATURATED GROUND...FLASH FLOODING
    AND DEBRIS FLOWS WILL BECOME MORE AND MORE LIKELY...ESPECIALLY IN
    AND BELOW RECENTLY BURNED AREAS. ROADS IN FLOOD PRONE AREAS WILL BE
    IMPASSABLE AT TIMES.

    OVER THE COASTAL WATERS THE WINDS WILL APPROACH GALE FORCE WITH
    WIND SPEEDS IN EXCESS OF 40 MPH. SEAS WILL BUILD TO BETWEEN 15 AND
    20 FEET...CREATING EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS FOR BOATERS.

    In CA the buildings are built to withstand earthquakes but how about an abundance of rain? Here in So Cal there are sinkholes, fallen trees and roof collapses. Not to mention the car accidents all over the place. So many drivers continue to push it in this weather. I don't feel as though I'm in any real danger but I'm starting to get a little nervous. Hope everyone takes it extra slooooow on their way home from work.
