Since the number of posts is so low; I just wanted to say we hope you are all well.
We are staying home mainly because there is no place to go. We had plenty of TP and canned food already. My heart goes out to those who have no choice but to go to work or are losing their jobs due to illness or having to stay home with children.
So far our retirement checks should keep being deposited so we are just sitting tight and hoping the panic does not become worse than the virus.

Still at the office. Only three warm bodies here. I have neither the bandwidth nor the iron to telecommute, and even if I did, we have customers with IP restrictions, such that I would be unable to reach them from home.

Printing Museum still open, but we canceled the Book Arts Patch Day, last weekend, and postponed the Krazy Krafts Day to December (where it will be combined with some vestigal version* of the Dickens Festival). Ended up just as busy, though, with a Linotype repair, and with my first two Heidelberg Windmill students (thankfully, neither of them wound up in Harbor-UCLA Emergency, and the Windmill is still usable, so I must have done something right).

I am still at work too. My office is set up that we are all separated with individual offices, but our work is nothing we are able to take home either due to confidentiality. We are all set up for if/when any mandate comes around to stay put. I have been picking up TP (limit 2 per day, and sometimes none) for my husband's employees because their work hours don't jive with when the stores are stocked. I think they are good to go now though...the checkout guy at the Safeway I go to was giving me a funny look about all of the TP I've been buying for the past week, but was much more amenable once I told him that I wasn't stockpiling but giving it to those who need it.

I pray that our LP family stays safe through whatever this is, and that loved ones are safe as well.

    Good for you.

The worst thing for my family so far is that my Granddaughter turns 21 today and cannot go out for her first legal drink.
(Her mother and I are breathing a big sigh of relief.)

I'm pushing 58, and about the only drinking I've done has been a couple of times when receiving Communion in an ELCA Lutheran church, and somehow neglected to signal for the Pasteurized grape juice.

    Big surprise.

(Remember, I'm the one who finds the idea of alcohol being served at any Disney theme park surprising, and the idea of it being served to the general public in a Magic Kingdom appalling.)

Oh! You are not alone. Although my husband and I do drink some; we both hate alcohol being served at the Parks.

I did laugh at my granddaughter last night telling her that someday she could tell her grandchildren how she spent her 21st birthday in quarantine with her grandparents. The neat thing was that she said we were *woke* (whatever that means).

Safe here in New Mexico. Lost all my clients due to closure of public facilities. (I take disabled peoples on recreational outings for a living).

Mostly sit at home and wish there was something better on disney plus and pray for the safety of others in this time.

Wow crazycroc, that must be hard.
Our son is just begging us to get up to his mountain where they have food, water and shelter and virtually no contact with the outside world. We have started cleaning and loading the motor home and just may take him up on it.
We are retired so no worries about not working. (Unless, of course they decide we do not need our SS checks.)

I'm in Salt Lake City where we had a major (but not devastating) earthquake on Wednesday. Since then there have been several aftershocks. My home is 126 years old, made of brick, so every rumble causes me anxiety. To say nothing of the pandemic. It's been one of the weirdest, most angst-ridden weeks of my life.

That said, my wife and I are extremely fortunate to still have jobs. I've spoken to my boss and I should continue to have work regardless. We are in a building with only a small number of people, each with their own office, so social distancing and isolating is easy. Even if a stay-in-place order came, we could work from home. My wife is in a similar situation, so given how difficult life is for others right now, we're feeling very lucky and grateful. I hope everyone is staying safe and staying away from...well...everyone and everything. I've been cautious but this week has downright radicalized me. Stay home, don't go near anyone who you aren't living with, have groceries delivered if you can, and read up on how this virus transmits.

Things are weird in Portland. Currently still at work with the paratransit program with the possibility of working from home looming in the near future. It was like a ghost town driving in this morning...Safeway was closed (my usual stop off for my coffee in the morning) and the Starbucks brick&mortar locations are down for the count as well. I'm glad that everybody is healthy, but I am the only one that is stressed about this stuff? I am fortunate that I have a boatload of sick time (months), but I know there are many that aren't so lucky.

I pray that we all stay healthy and somewhat sane during this crazy moment in time. Steve and I watched The Invisible Man using Prime Theatre this weekend. $20 to rent it for 48 hours...it's comparable to what it would've been to go to the actual movies. I will probably break sometime this week and watch Onward that way too. Take care everybody!

Looks like we are all hanging in there. And I am having horrible anxiety issues.[IMG]

Yesterday I felt like a watch spring that had been overwound. Packing the RV is the only thing that has given me some relief. So even if we do no take
off to John's; it will be cleaned packed and ready to go whenever. (Like the Apocalypse.)
My physical therapist called this morning and said we will be doing phone appointments. I am not too sure what we can accomplish over the phone but he seems to think there is.

There is a difference between running around your house naked and running around OUTside your house naked. I say you're just fine as long as you stay inside. :D

Thanks for bringing back some laughs guys!
Get this, today I have a phone appointment for physical therapy. Not quite sure what we will accomplish but he says he thinks we can work on some new stuff.[IMG]
