So we can only add the night of the 7th to the best western or completly cancel and stay at the carousel inn. What should I do? The tripadvisor comments on the carousel are good. Anyone stayed there before...

I stayed twice at the Best Western Anaheim Inn, and after the second time vowed never to return. Bugs in the room, no enforcement of the nonsmoking floor rules, and no effort made by hotel staff to stop the loud, drunken all night parties and violent fight in the parking lot (man screaming threats that he was going to kill the woman he was talking to).

Two important tips for a good stay at the Carousel. Make sure you request a top floor room near the back of the building to cut down on the foot traffic noise. Also, make sure you are in a room that's been renovated in the past three years. Otherwise you might have a nasty looking room with a showerhead that is about five feet from the floor. . . tough for anyone of average or above height. :)
