Have you thought about one on Katella? Super 8 on Katella is nice and clean, and a quick walk to the Timon lot, where you can catch the tram there. There are others within that vicinity, but I've not stayed at any others (and I usually drove and parked at M&F, since I had the AP)

I am unfamiliar with that side of Disneyland as we always stay at DLH or on South Harbor. Is the parking lot this guy talking about the Timon lotand is it about a 5 minute walk? Appreciate your help!

Originally Posted By susanmckay20 Pirate_Princess...would you say the guy at Super 8 is pretty accurate about the 5 minute walk? I know about the Anaheim Transit, but there are 4 of us all over 11 years old so that adds up to $12 per day X 3 days, which I know is not really big $$$ for a trip to Disney, but we are AP holders and like to come every 2 months and spend 2 nights. Just trying to budget here and there so we can come often. Thanks for all of your responses!!

Believe me by the 3rd day, that extra 3 minute walk with 3 tired girls seems like 30 minutes!!!

Don't bid below three stars as those hotels can be dicey at times. I believe all the three stars are on the ART, with the exception of Doubletree and Sheraton which have their own buses and Hyatt and Crowne Plaza which share one, these are free transportation hotels! By all means, do your research first. www.biddingfortravel.com has a Disneyland/oc forum which shows which hotels have been coming up recently. Priceline rooms can only guarantee one king bed per room. I've never been turned down when requesting two queens, however and I've gone during X-mas, spring break, Halloween, and busiest Summer Days. Also, some of the three star properties charge up to $15 dollars a day per car for parking and/or resort fees if you don't have a car. However, if you look like a homeless biker, sometimes these said resort and parking fees don't end up on your bill for some reason. : ) Some people aren't comfortable with the system, but I would feel remiss if I didn't remind you of this option.
