We stay at Townplace Suites. It is on State College Blvd and about 2 miles from Disneyland. But it has a kitchenette with all the stuff you need to cook your own meals. The rooms are spacious and nice. They offer studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom suites. If you go to marriot.com you can find out a lot of info on the hotel plus other hotels in the area. I personally like this hotel, the staff is very nice and helpful as well. I hope this helps you out.

Our kids were 3, 5 and 8 and all found plenty they liked in the buffet.
We used the shuttle. The website claims the pool is indoors but it does have one side open to the wind and rain. DS [aka Iceman] swam anyway. It was fine but now that the kids are a little older we want something right across the street.
A friend with an AP always stays at the Park Place Inn and Suites and says it is good and you can't get closer.

The Holiday inn Express has a few rooms with 2 beds and a hide-a-bed and rooms 402/302 have the hide-a-bed in a small attached room that closes off.

We are trying the Islander at the end of nov and the prices are low and it says it has multiroom suites. The trip advisor web site has some recent reviews that make it sound nice.

Also the Desert Palm was remodeled a few years ago and they have multiroom suites - but they are kind of pricey.

You can try the hilton on City drive (across from the stadium and near townplace suites) all the rooms are suites with a living type area with a hide-a-bed and a separated bedroom with one or two beds. This is nice because the bathroom is large and accessible from both rooms (it's L shaped with 2 doors) both rooms also have TVs and the living room is large enough to relax in while the tot is sleeping - it also has a micro wave and a refrid and sink (wet bar) area in the living room. Not as pricey as the hilton by the park.
