The entrances for each face each other and they are less than half a football field apart.

If it is a busy day, you might have to factor in wait times, but even so, on New Year's Day, we waited less than five minutes to enter DCA.

NOTHING like that at DLR. You can easily walk from any of the DL hotels to either park.

Considering it only takes me a minute, you must really enjoy your brick. Do you gaze at it each time you pass over or only once per visit?

    Sorry...;)

A few weeks ago, I saw a family that, I think, was having a picnic on/near their brick. They were all seated around eating a snack and cleaning it. How sweet.

    onlyme- you crack me up!
    Thanks for a good laugh.
I find the "having a picnic near their brick" pretty funny.

However, if I paid big money for brick I would definitely take pictures with my brick.
Don't think I would picnic with it though.

Ha! Well, I don't picnic on it, but I have danced on it before. You also have to add the LP factor, you know, all of my fans who stop me and say "Oh, my Goodness, it's Ursula! Live and in Person! Can we PLEASE have a picture?" Of course I have to stop and meet my new friends, and this has nothing to do with my husband needing a smoke between parks so we actually walk slower.

And I once cleaned off a huge streak of chewing gum from my brick.

As Ursula says, if there are crowds waiting to go in you may have to wait in line but FORGET the WDW transit concept here! (Also, maybe forget the idea of an entire different park, but hey I like DCA so no bashing)
